I love the Cracker Barrel Country Store. The clothing is unique, it's like buying in a boutique. It is a vintage/modern kind of style. Little pricey though. The restaurant is your typical American food. I really liked the Roasted Beef with potatoes.
The food was pretty decent. Our waitress did not seem happy that we were there. A different waitress came to take our drink order after we had been seated. Throughout the meal half of us had empty drinks that we're never refilled. I ordered a grilled chicken BLT and it had no bacon on it. My husband order the double bacon burger and it also came without bacon. The other two people in our party got the food the way it was ordered and said it was decent. The waitress did take a soda off of the bill to compensate for the missing bacon on the burger.
It's a decent chain. Nothing fancy but you're getting a familiar menu and consistent quality.
First visit after a few years. I got the haddock and was very surprised by how good it was. I was also pleased with the price and service. I am actually looking forward to going back.
It's a favorite for us when we're traveling and don't know the local places and don't want to wander far from the highway.
Breakfast was v we ry good. Ron one of the waitresses was superb in attending to our table even though she wasn't our waitress. She was very pleasant
Only complaint for this specific location was the odor outside... We checked inside to make sure it wasn't the restaurant.... Manager said it was the local paper mill. That odor was awful, but thankfully not inside.... Honestly would have kept driving but we needed the break and food.
