Years ago, I had a cocker spaniel that was hit by a car & my local vet suggested we put him to sleep because he had "lived a good life." We took him here & they operated on him & he lived about 5 more years. He always hated going to the local vet but LOVED to visit Roanoke Animal Hospital! He would wander around the front desk & they'd give him treats! I have a foster dog now who has had problems with his foot. They have been so helpful in getting him on the road to recovery! These people really care about your pets!

The vet was very rude to me just because I won't use the flea and tick products that they sell. Not everyone can afford these products. It doesn't mean we don't love our pets any less. It makes you wonder how they treat your pets when you're not around? And then I found out that they knew my dog has had food allergies since he was a pup. They've kept this from me for over 6 years. They didn't say anything because 'they didn't see any issues'. So they just kept quiet and let me keep feeding my dog the same dog food. IMO this hospital needs to be investigated.
