I have had nothing but Awesome service from AAA (until now). They always arrived with in a reasonable time. I have always praised AAA.

Needless to say I canceled my policy and Alexandria seamed very excited to cancel my policy, as if my 20 year membership did not matter. I was very sadden by the rude treatment.

AAA needs to be monitoring the Member Service employees for Quality Customer Service. Obviously this is excepted customer treatment.

I had a bad experience with AAA Carolinas last year and received a certificate for a free year's membership. My dues auto-renewed and I submitted the certificate for a refund of my dues but AAA denied because AAA had already processed payment and refused to honor the certificate.

It's time to renew my policy and I got a letter from AAA telling me what plan would be available to me. Basic Only. I have been a GOLD Plan member for years. Why, Basic Only? They said I used it too much.

This was the first time I ever called Member Services.

So after over 20 years of being a member of AAA I was upset.

So I called AAA Member Services. I was talking to Alexandria (AAA Member Service Decision Maker Employee) and expressed my dissatisfaction. Her response was yeah. She was very rude. I asked Alexandria if I could speak to her manager and she said she was the one that would make any decision, and there was no one else I could talk to. I asked Alexandria if the BUCK stopped with her and she said yes! I asked for an address to send in a letter of dissatisfaction and Alexandria said the letter would come to her so it would not matter.

They are very nice but this is a call center and not open to the public.

Don't waste your money on AAA. I have been a member for 4 years, and never needed the service, and recently was stranded with a Flat for 3 hours waiting on AAA to send a tow-truck which never came. Worst of all it was on the shoulder of the Highway , at night. I was told by AAA that a wrecker would arrive within 1 hour, after 2 hours after numerous times having to call back I was informed that they were not able to find anyone to tow me. I was able to find a local towing company within minutes and ended up using them. Then afterwards their customer service which took days to get back to me refused to reimburse my towing fees, which were substantial.
