Every time you page for the nurse or doctor no one comes and they act like your inconvenience them. Horrible

This is the third time I came here and they are slow. The nurse wete nice and at first was nice then the doctor was an ass and very disrespectful to me. Questioning me why a drive 30 to take my daughter to school I told her none of her Business and the CT tec was very disrespectful n rude I will never come here again.

My daughter went there at 5:30 am with contractions they told her she was not having contractions sent her home after 30 minutes 3 hours later she delivered her child only making it to another hospital n20 min before having the baby. She almost delivered at home. This hospital sucks.

Would give a -10 but not possible. Mother in law lives in roanoke rapids everyone else is out of state, got taken here and the staff here is not helpful in the ER. I don't think they could care less for their patients. Trying to find out what was going on with her was impossible so we got down there as soon as we could. The staff hung up on us 3 times and had us on hold another 4 times which totaled up to 45 minutes. Dr's didn't know what to do with her and she was transferred to Raleigh which is 3-4 hours from her family versus the hospital closer to her family would have been an hour away which would be much easier being she's in critical condition! And there was no difference in miliage. The Dr flat out refused to call anywhere else and said we were lucky to have any hospitals take her in! Never been to a hospital this rude and under equipped. And to top it off if you don't know the area you are going to have to figure out the location prior to going there's little to no help by asking them for directions and good luck following the signs.

This hospital is behind times. If you are seriously ill or have a condition that needs medical attention donot attend this one. This place is for simple first aid. They need prayers after prayers and Doctor Jesus.

I pg for a nurse and all of them n the doctor was playing around and on their phones.

My wife went to the ER at Halifax Regional Medical Center for high fever and severe abdominal pain. From check in through triag and into the ER suite, the staff was courteous, professional and very attentive to her needs. The nurse treated my wife so well and the Dr on duty helped her with comfort, diagnosis and treatment. My wife is now on the road to recovery and is thankful for the staff at Halifax Regional.
