You never know what to expect at the Roanoke Rapids, NC Enterprise location. Sometimes service is stellar, and other times CSR is totally incompetent and rude. Worst experience was with a CSR trainee named Todd during November, 2017; he was either untrained or completely inept at common CSR tasks. Not reassuring knowing that these questionable employees have access to your credit card and other personal information.
I do not use any social network...as far as Enrerprise POB goes, the employees are nice & professional & courteous. **,the NEW cars suck !!I I do not like push button start, nor huge weighty remote control keypads, vs. a little key ion my pocket.If you are in drive, and stop & take foot off the brake, the car will continue to move--DANGEROUS..** The last rental vehicle, had KLEEN glass all around,, reducing safety/vision issue 99%..Thanks clean up crew....POB = place of business.
Last night we were in a bind..our car was in the process of completely breaking down. We were on 95. We called and asked if there was any way that they could stay open a few extra minutes (20) and told them they could even have our credit card number to hold the rental. The guy said he had to ask his manager and placed me on hold for 10 minutes. When ha came back he said that they had more people in the store than they had cars. When I called first thing this morning....they said there were plenty of cars to choose from. So...we were lied to..really?? You couldn't help somebody out?? We made it about 5 minutes away and broke down at a gas station where we had to wait 2 hours for a tow truck... Could not get to our destination today...Enterprise in Roanoke Rapids...shame on you for lying! You really get a -star...
Sometimes vehicle is ready and waiting, other times you have to wait for the reserved vehicle to show up. Usually have older vehicles, some that should have been auctioned off 10,000 miles ago. Typical to receive a vehicle due for an oil change when picking up an extended reservation. Always have to add windshield washer fluid, and air to tires at your own time and expense. Tires are often a mix of no name brands. Raises concerns regarding safety and road worthiness of vehicles.

Picking the customers up is one of the best processes that Enterprise came up with, they are always on time when so. The pick up process is very fast and the drop off process is easy.

I have tried to contact enterprise and the consumer service about the suv I tired to rent and when I went to the location to ask for my vehicle they said they didn’t have it I put in for it a month ago and the manger there was totally disrespectful and I thought that if I didn’t like the suv they are suppose to give you some to compare but my experience was horrible and customer service is giving me the run around.
